Welcome to Ethereal Wax. As a solo suite, appointments are meticulously scheduled to give each guest a private, unhurried, and premium experience. Because your time slot is reserved exclusively for you, we kindly ask that you review and honor our studio policies below.
01. Cancellation & Rescheduling
We understand that life happens! If you need to modify or cancel your appointment, we require a minimum of 24 hours' notice.

Late Modifications: Appointments cancelled or rescheduled within 24 hours of your start time will be subject to a fee equal to 50% of the scheduled service price.
02. The 7-Minute Grace Period
We want to give you the full, relaxing experience you deserve. If you are running behind, please send us a quick text to let us know.

The Window: We offer a 7-minute grace period for all appointments. Because services are tightly timed, arrival after this window means your service cannot be guaranteed.

Past 7 Minutes: If you arrive more than 7 minutes late, your appointment will be treated as a late cancellation, and a fee equal to 50% of the service price will be charged to the card on file.
03. No-Call / No-Shows
Clear communication is everything to a small business.

No-Show Fee: If you completely miss your appointment without any prior notice, it will be considered a No-Call/No-Show, and a fee equal to 100% of the scheduled service price will be charged to the card on file. Future booking privileges may also be suspended.

For the most effective and clean lift, your hair should be about the length of a grain of rice (approximately 1/4 inch). If you have been shaving, this typically means letting the hair grow for 2 to 3 weeks before your appointment. If it’s too short, the wax won't be able to grip the hair properly.
A great wax starts with a little prep! We recommend gently exfoliating the area 24 to 48 hours before your visit to lift flat hairs. On the day of your appointment, arrive with clean skin and skip any heavy lotions, body oils, or deodorants on the areas being treated.
Comfort is key. We highly recommend wearing loose, breathable clothing (like soft cotton garments, loose sweatpants, or a flowy dress). Freshly waxed skin is delicate and prone to irritation if rubbed by tight fabrics like denim or spandex.
Absolutely. If you are worried about discomfort, you can take an over-the-counter pain reliever (like ibuprofen) about 30 to 45 minutes before your session. We also recommend avoiding caffeine or alcohol right before your appointment, as they can actually make your skin temporarily more sensitive.
We won't tell you it's completely painless, but it is much quicker and gentler than you think! Because we use high-quality waxes formulated for sensitive skin and an expert, swift technique, the discomfort lasts only a few seconds. Plus, the more regularly you wax, the weaker the hair follicle becomes, making each subsequent visit much easier.
To achieve and maintain completely seamless, stubble-free results, we recommend booking your sessions every 3 to 4 weeks. Consistency is the secret to syncing up your hair growth cycles so that all the hair comes over time and stays gone longer.
Yes, absolutely! It is completely normal and you are welcome in the suite. All we ask is that you wear a clean tampon or menstrual cup to your appointment. Please just keep in mind that your skin may be slightly more sensitive to the wax during this time of the month.
It is incredibly common to experience slight redness or tiny pink bumps (temporary histamine reactions) immediately after a wax. This is just your skin's natural response to hair removal and usually fades completely within 24 hours. Following your clean post-care ritual will help soothe the skin quickly.
